Discord banner size

Check one image against four Discord banner slots. A size that fits one slot is not the size for the others.

Check a Discord image

Drop a PNG, JPEG, or GIF. Nothing is uploaded.

The result stays on this device.

Account profile banner

The Custom Profiles article says a banner is a PNG, JPG, or animated GIF under 10 MB, with a minimum of 680 × 240. 680 × 240 is 17:6. Nitro is required to upload. This page does not check Nitro, and meeting the minimum is not upload access.

Per-server profile banner

The per-server profile article says the recommended minimum is 600 × 240, as a PNG, JPG, or GIF under 10 MB. 600 × 240 is 5:2. That crop is not the account minimum of 680 × 240.

Server banner

The server banner article says to upload an image or GIF that is at least 960 × 540 in a 16:9 ratio. A 1920 × 1080 file can be uploaded and the app scales it down. The FAQ recommended size for a static image and a GIF is 960 × 540. Keep the top 48 px simple. Boost Level 2 is for a static image and Boost Level 3 is for a GIF. This page does not check Boost and does not measure the top 48 px.

Invite background

The invite background article says the image size is 1920 × 1080, as a JPG or PNG, not a GIF. Boost Level 1 is required. This page does not check Boost.

This page reads 10 MB as 10,000,000 bytes and applies that line only to the account and per-server articles. It does not promise the image will stay sharp after Discord stores it.
